VACCINATION

VACCINATION PROCEDURE

In a preliminary conversation with the parents, the pediatrician learns about the child's previous vaccinations, reactions to vaccinations, as well as complaints at this point in time.

A doctor or nurse performs clinical blood analysis before vaccination. This is necessary to find out the presence of internal inflammatory processes.

Having made sure  that there is no contraindication, the doctor will administer the vaccination.

After the procedure according to the condition of the child in progress 20-30min. honey, staff will be observed. This is necessary to provide timely assistance in the event of a possible allergic reaction.

Is it necessary to vaccinate the child?

This question worries most parents. Doctors adhere to an unambiguous point of view:yes, definitely necessary. Of course, by this we mean vaccination in compliance with all the necessary norms, starting with the quality of vaccines, their storage and transportation, medical examination of the child, as well as monitoring him after vaccination.

Why is it better to get vaccinated against infection than to get sick and get immunity?

Diseases against which vaccination is carried out can lead to complications, disability and even death. Vaccination is a safe way to form protection against infections. It should be borne in mind that immunity against infectious diseases is guaranteed after the transfer of only some diseases, for example, measles, rubella, mumps. But these diseases can cause serious complications. Is it worth risking your child's health?

SOME VACCINATIONS NEED TO BE GIVEN FROM BIRTH

AND PLANNED

REPEAT THEM FOR LIFE

»

Vaccination is the only protection necessary for life.

»

Vaccinate your child so that the disease does not become the norm.

THE FOLLOWING CONTRAINDICATIONS EXIST TO VACCINATION:

An acute disease accompanied by a temperature above 38.5 °C

1

A serious allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) to the previous dose of the vaccine or a known allergic reaction to one of the components of the vaccine (for example, to gelatin, neomycin, chicken protein, etc.)

2

3

Diseases and conditions of the body in which immunity may not be formed after the introduction of the vaccine (for example, in the conditions of chemotherapy in cancer patients, when using large doses of steroid hormones, drugs that suppress immunity, and AIDS). Inactivated vaccines are safe for such people, as they do not contain a live virus or bacteria, however, the successful development of immunity after the introduction of the vaccine cannot be guaranteed in this case

Children with uncontrolled epilepsy are not recommended to administer whole-cell vaccines against pertussis
